Huerta de San Vicente

The Park Federico García Lorca is situated in the modern part of the city, Camino de Ronda. The park was created in memory of the Granadian poet Federico García Lorca.
It is designed with many sunny alleys, areas of relaxation in the shade of the palm trees. There is a large variety of trees and arbustres, roses ... In the centro of the park there's the Huerta de San Vicente that is the summer house where Lorca penned a number of his most important works between 1926-1936. Lorca's house is now a museum that has been very faithfully maintained.
